Westhumble and Box Hill

It looked like it was turning out to be a fine day today, so I decided to go on a walk that I had been wanting to do for some time. Sadly, the sun only came out briefly, and naturally not quite at the most opportune moments. So the shots I wanted to take of Westhumble Chapel did not turn out as well as I had wished. Well, there will be a next time. With a tripod.

Meanwhile, here’s two that turned out decently enough. The first is a shot of the well-known stepping stones across the River Mole. The next is a train bridge one passes under along the North Downs Way from Westhumble towards Box Hill. What remains is a long steep uphill walk to the Box Hill viewpoint.
