I meant to write this post yesterday, but things conspired against that. Something I didn’t mention in my last post was that Gilbert White’s grave can also be found in the church of St Mary’s. Today’s image shows the chancel, with White’s grave in the middle, in front of the altar. I particularly liked the wooden structure of the ceiling and the organ hidden away in an alcove, so I chose a viewpoint that would show these to best effect.
The image was taken handheld as a single exposure, exposed for the highlights. Processing involved selective curves to pull the shadows and adjust the contrast.
As always, you can click on the image for a larger version; comments welcome.
