Tichborne from the King’s Way

Tichborne from the King's Way (2092)

A quick break from the posts about Winkworth, to share with you a photo from a walk I did about three weeks ago near Winchester. It was a bright sunny spring afternoon, which made for an enjoyable walk and a few photos. About four miles into the walk, after a short uphill climb, this view opened up leading into Tichborne. You can just see the church among the line of trees beyond the curvy field, and a few buildings to the left of the trees.

I took the photo handheld as a single exposure. I had the polariser fitted to increase contrast in the clouds and to deepen the colours of the foliage. In post I had to do very little, just a curves layer to fine tune image contrast.

Click on the photo for a larger version; comments welcome, and of course feel free to share the link.
