A really quick post today for B&W Challenge Day 2. As it turns out, it was a quick edit too. When I arrived back in Malta in summer I went through a series of experiments/exercises – this is one of those studies. The subject is a terracotta mixing bowl in our kitchen. Meanwhile, Radu, consider yourself nominated.
I took the photo handheld as a single exposure. The original itself is rather monochromatic, in a terracotta tone, so the translation to B&W is very straightforward. Processing involved only the removal of a couple of sensor dust spots and a straight conversion to monochrome.
