A quick post today to share another photo from my flight back from Geneva late last year. I shared its companion photo about a month ago, and with posting only once a week over December it’s taken a while to get to this. I recall it was very foggy the night before we left, and on the flight it became fairly clear the fog was held down by an inversion layer. Even as the sun rose the fog remained thick on the ground, in the valleys between the mountains of eastern France.
Getting these photos was a tad tricky, between the cabin windows, the airplane movement, the continuously changing light intensity, and the contrast in the scene. Next time I’ll have a better idea what to expect.
