A quick post today for the throwback series, with a photo I took early last autumn. I was there for an organized walk, but had arrived rather early. So I took the opportunity to do a little exploring. This was where Rdum Rxawn start, and as it was morning the sun was right opposite. This made for a lot of photographic opportunity but also made things harder. The Mediterranean sun is so stark and bright, it takes some getting used to. As the plan was to walk I didn’t have my usual photo gear with me, so had to work without filters etc. At some point I’ll want to go back there just to take photos.
Anyway, in this composition you can see the seaside towns of Buġibba, Qawra, and St Paul’s Bay (it’s hard to say where one ends and the other begins) in the distance. All three are popular holiday towns, with lots of locals owning a summer residence there.
