Something a little different today. A friend of mine, currently living in Australia, was visiting Malta over the holidays. As he’s also a climber, we pencilled in a day’s outing early on. In the morning we headed to Chapel Buttress, in the sunshine, and we were soon climbing in tee-shirts. I took my EOS M5 and a tripod with me, as he wished to have some climbing video. I set this up to give a nice view of the valley, with the vertical wall we were climbing on the right.
The video is very straight-forward, just a single static shot, and shows nicely how much Ben’s technique has improved over the past year. It took me a while to find the time to edit the clip and upload to YouTube, which is why you’re only seeing this now. I don’t do video much, so it takes me considerably longer to do the necessary post-production.
