Today I’m sharing the final image from the series taken with the long telephoto at Castlerigg stone circle in Cumbria, earlier this year. This one is a bit special to me. Unlike other photos from this series, it isn’t very dramatic. Rather, the subtle change of tonalities is such that you can barely see the shadow of the fells behind the haze, lit up as it is by the evening light. Barely, because if you look too hard it will disappear.
