San Niklaw

This week I’m sharing photos from another chapel in Siġġiewi, dedicated (of course) to St Nicholas. Like last week’s chapel, this one’s also out in the country, though easily reached on paved roads. I had been by this chapel already, on the same walk I mentioned last week, and while I had taken some photos, I didn’t edit or share any.

On this visit I had the luxury of having the place to myself, so I took my time looking for different viewpoints. In the end I settled on the two views you see here. The first, above, is with the 24mm tilt-shift, and gives some context. The second, below, is a frontal view with the 70-200mm. As usual, I find I may want to revisit the place at a different time of year for a shift in lighting conditions.

    • Thank you! It is always nice to know when these photos and blog posts evoke good memories. Seems like we’ve walked many of the same paths ☺️
