The photos I’m sharing today are from a location I had been meaning to revisit for some time. Il-Qolla is this distinctive rocky knoll about mid-way between Mtarfa and Binġemma. It features prominently on many lovely walks that can be had in the area, including the one I described about a month ago. So since my walks don’t generally coincide with the times of day where one expects the best light, I’ve been saying to myself for a while that I should return here specifically for photography. This I did, and experimented for a while with different points of view, making a few photos in the process. Eventually I settled on these two as my preferred renditions. Doubtless I’ll be back again.
