There’s still a few photos of flowers and plants that I need to share, all from a very productive outing in Wied il-Għasel last spring. Over the next few weeks I hope to publish them in my throwback series of posts. Today’s is a very common flower in these parts. Lellux (Glebionis coronaria), as it’s known in Maltese, or the Crown Daisy in English, has many variants. Its intense yellow brightens up the landscape and has an air of joy about it that is hard to describe (or suppress, I think).
