Going back to Sydney for this week’s throwback photo. This time, though, it’s from a visit to the Chinese Garden of Friendship with one of my cousins. After a walk about the quay and lunch there, we headed towards Chinatown and stopped to visit these gardens on the way. As these gardens often are, it’s a beautiful and serene space, with the walkways designed in such a way to maximise the length of your walk and the viewpoints you get along the way. A good side benefit is that this means you get the feeling of greater seclusion than could actually be possible in such a space. I have fond memories of that day.
