
Continuing from where I left off last week, the Prince Henry Cliff Walk in the Blue Mountains also passes by the Leura Cascades. There’s a little shallow cave by the bottom where one gets a few of these cascades. As often happens with these things, points of view are limited, so the choice is rather limited in terms of composition. I went with the comprehensive view, using an ND filter to allow a long exposure. I think I also used a polarising filter to cut the glare from the wet rocks and foliage. There was a lot of contrast on this scene, and while the polariser helped a bit, exposing well was tricky.
