When I shared the comet photo last week I mentioned how we spent some time on our roof to watch the sunset, before waiting for the comet to appear. As I had my camera already set up with the long telephoto lens, it is perhaps not surprising that my first photos that night were not of the comet.
The one I’m sharing today was taken shortly after sunset. Well, technically just shortly after the sun was not visible from our location, which was actually a few minutes before sunset proper. The rooftops visible in silhouette show the kind of infrastructure typical on this island: solar panels, water tanks, terrestrial (DVB-T) antennas, and a mobile network antenna (the tall one on the right).
