Concluding this series of photos from a walk in Mtaħleb earlier this year, today I’m sharing two photos looking back to the south east, with Filfla in the distance. This is, effectively, the cliff line that one is walking along (the edge of) for a good part of this walk. It is exquisite, though I seem to avoid it late in the day or in stormy weather. I’m sure I wouldn’t be too comfortable there if it’s windy, though it would be fun to do this walk as evening approaches. Perhaps not on my own though. As I walk these cliffs I often wonder how much climbing opportunity exists. I do not know of any documented climbs along these cliffs. There are certainly none in any of the published guidebooks (I have checked).
