As a particularly busy day closes, I’m taking a few moments to share a photo from last year, making this week’s throwback unusually early. This one is from an evening walk with Roberta in Dingli, around sunset. As you can see there was a thick layer of cloud hanging over the horizon, obstructing the last part of the sun’s descent. I must have taken so many variations of this view over the years, and I’m sure that so have many that visit this place. Nowadays of course it’s usually young people with smartphones. The technology may change, but the feeling I’m sure remains largely the same: just hanging around, enjoying a beautiful view, and the breeze of a Mediterranean spring.
