The throwback photo this week takes us to another walk I did in spring last year, around Aħrax, covering the eastern half of Marfa ridge. The first part of this walk goes through the beaches on the north side of the peninsula, which are all popular with bathers. It was in Armier bay that I made this particular photo. A local traditional fishing boat (known as a luzzu in Maltese) was anchored in the bay. With the crystal-clear waters in front and the island of Kemmuna in the background, I composed accordingly. The water must have been rather fresh, but boy was it inviting.
