Starting off this week with a recent photo from a morning walk and photography session in Lija, some days before the feast. The church is already arrayed with the lights on its façade, and the poles along Vjal it-Trasfigurazzjoni are already set up. Like most modern-day streets it is basically impossible to ever find this road without any cars, though thankfully this early in the morning on a Sunday, at least there was very little traffic. Otherwise it would not have been possible to make this photo, as I needed to stand in the middle of the road.
