This week’s throwback photo takes us back about a year. I was in Xemxija for the Malta International Airshow, obviously with my long telephoto lens fitted. On the opposite side of the inlet is Wardija hill, and almost at the top of this one can find the old chapel known as Il-Madonna tal-Abbandunati. Like other chapels in Wardija this dates back to the Knights era, but has seen many changes since that time.
