I do not often shoot or share sunset photos, though I must admit I do have a few. Cliché or not, something rather special happens as the evening approaches and the colour of the light and sky changes. Today’s photo follows very neatly from the one I shared a week ago, as this was the sunset that R and I were watching as we shared a simple picnic.
I wouldn’t normally have bothered with photographing the sunset itself, but then I saw those higher clouds making an interesting shape, so I swapped to a telephoto lens and made this photo. I barely made it in time, as within a few seconds everything had moved and the moment was no more.
