I’ve fallen quite a bit behind on my photography lately. I have been photographing less frequently than I would like, and when I do it seems to take me forever to get around to processing the photos. I could say that I’ve been busy, but then isn’t that always the case? So rather than complain, I’m simply finding a few moments to write up a short post to share this photo I made at the height of summer, on a lovely photographic evening out with a good friend.
The excuse, if we needed one, was that there was going to be a full moon rising that night, and we both had fairly new cameras to take out for a spin. Moonrise would happen a few minutes after sunset, so after we set up at a suitable location we both used the waiting time to explore other subjects. In my case, I experimented with some compositions of the Valletta bastions, on the other side of the natural harbour.
