Various websites I maintain use SSL encryption; all site certificates are issued by my self-signed root CA. In order to be sure that the secure websites you are connecting to are really mine, and also to avoid the certificate warnings, please install my root certificate below. Please be sure to verify the fingerprint! If you’re paranoid, and want to be absolutely sure this has not been tampered with, I keep a printed version in my office.

Instructions: to install this in Firefox, open the Tools → Options menu item. Under the Advanced → Encryption tabs, choose View Certificates. This opens up the Certificate Manager window. Select the Authorities tab, and click Import. Choose the certificate file you have just downloaded, and verify the fingerprint before accepting.
